Thrifting can be a dreadful experience for some and an exciting quest for others. Personally, I can spend hours in thrift stores and flea markets rummaging through piles of vintage band tees and swooning over 90’s leather jackets and high-rise jeans in search of that one special piece of treasure I can take home and flaunt proudly.  Sure, going to the mall may be more of a simple task if you’re looking for something ordinary, but sometimes you want a fabulous statement piece to go with that plain white tee and thrift stores are the perfect place to find them. Thrifting can be a bit of a challenge, but it can also be fun and pocket friendly! So next time you’re in the mood to go on a treasure hunt in NYC, make sure to check out some of my favorite vintage and secondhand stores!
